Bedrock appoints two new partners

Bedrock has appointed Raquel Santos Silva and Carlota van de Koppel as partners, effective 2nd October, 2023.

Raquel Santos Silva joined Bedrock’s Wealth Management division in 2021 as Director, responsible for Ultra HNW clients in the UK and Portugal. She began her career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley and then Santander, before obtaining an MBA from Columbia University. Raquel Santos Silva then spent over 12 years developing her expertise in wealth management, first at Goldman Sachs and then at Pictet in London. Drawing on her experience in investment banking and asset management, she has advised wealthy families and entrepreneurs on asset allocation strategies for both public and private investments. Beyond Bedrock, Raquel finds fulfillment in teaching and has passed on her knowledge as a guest lecturer at the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and INSEAD.

Carlota van de Koppel, who joined Bedrock in 2016, now operates as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer. Previously, she completed an online entrepreneurship project in Madrid and gained experience in the consulting and finance sector in New York and London. She holds a BSc in Business Management from King’s College London and an MSc in Management, Organisations and Governance from the London School of Economics. Carlota van de Koppel is fluent in Spanish, English and Dutch. Passionate about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), she is committed to the wider context of the company’s operations, including a strong involvement in Next Gen initiatives.
