The responsible investment market is worth around €7,000 billion* in Europe (source: Eurosif). Switzerland, which wants to position itself as a leading market in sustainable finance by 2015, is among countries handling the biggest volume of investments, along with the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. The Geneva Forum for Sustainable Investment (GFSI) is the annual meeting place in the field of responsible investment for investors wishing to find out about the latest good practice and gain access to quality products and innovative concepts. The goals of the event are:

• to review international issues in corporate social responsibilities, governance and the environment;

• to promote Switzerland as an innovative market for sustainable finance in a context of tougher competition;

• to present the market for sustainable investment products and services to an audience of asset management professionals;

• to bring together leaders in responsible investment and give them a platform to showcase their management expertise.
