About the Zurich Forum for Sustainable Investment

The Zurich Forum for Sustainable Investment (ZFSI) is a leading sustainable finance event where investors can learn about best practices and meet key asset managers and main players in the sustainable finance industry. The objectives of this event are:

Chief Country Officer, Chief Executive Officer – Société Générale

Anne Marion-Bouchacourt has been appointed Group Country Head for Switzerland and CEO of SG Zurich on 1 October 2018. Anne Marion-Bouchacourt is a member of the Group Management Committee.

Anne Marion-Bouchacourt was Group Chief Country Officer for China since July 2012. She was previously Head of Group Human Resources, a position she held since 2006. Anne Marion-Bouchacourt joined Societe Generale in 2004 as Head of Human Resources for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking. Anne Marion-Bouchacourt started her career as an auditor and then a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). In 1990 she was appointed Director in PWC’s Financial Services sector. In 1999 she joined Gemini Consulting Financial Institutions Practice as Vice-President and in 2002 she became Vice-President and Head of the Banking practice with Solving International. She also holds several Non Executive Director and Director positions.

Anne Marion-Bouchacourt graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, is a Chartered accountant and holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management on Capital Markets from Paris-Dauphine University.

David Czupryna currently holds the position of Head of ESG Development at Candriam. Prior to that, he has been the SRI Client Portfolio Manager. As a member of the team of SRI analysts and portfolio managers, David’s role is to deliver Candriam’s unique blend of sustainability credentials and market wisdom to European investors. Before that, David led the growth of SRI strategies in German speaking countries at Sycomore Asset Management and in Northern Europe at Erste Asset Management. David started his career with BNP Paribas in London on the equity derivative structuring desk.

David holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge as well as Masters degrees in political science from the Free University of Brussels and the Catholic University of Louvain.

Dries Dury, CFA is a fund manager at DPAM with over 14 years of experience. He graduated from Ghent University with a Master in Economics in 2011, after which he started his career as a research analyst at the National Bank of Belgium. He then joined Degroof Petercam (former Bank Degroof) in 2011 as a sell-side real estate equity analyst. In 2013, Dries Dury started managing the EMU high dividend yield equity strategies at DPAM, and, in 2016, he switched to managing international equity and dividend strategies.

Stefan Flückiger wird neuer Leiter Abteilung Planung und Strategie im SIF und damit stellvertretender Staatssekretär. Aus dem ordentlichen Bewerbungsverfahren für die Anfang September ausgeschriebene Stelle ging Stefan Flückiger als geeignetster Kandidat hervor. Aufgrund seines bisherigen Werdegangs und seiner langjährigen und ausgewiesenen Erfahrung im Bereich Wirtschaft und Finanzen während seiner Tätigkeit für das EDA und das WBF, ist er bestens für die Aufgaben, die er im SIF im nationalen und internationalen Kontext wahrnehmen wird, qualifiziert.

Botschafter Stefan Flückiger (1958), lic. phil. I. Zürich, M.A. Yale, ist seit 1. Juli 2018 Leiter des Leistungsbereichs Aussenwirtschaftliche Fachdienste in der Direktion für Aussenwirtschaft und Delegierter des Bundesrats für Handelsverträge im SECO. Davor führte er, ebenfalls im Range eines Botschafters, die Abteilung Sektorielle Aussenpolitiken im Eidgenössischen Departement für auswärtige Angelegenheiten EDA. Von 2006 bis 2014 war er bei der Schweizerischen Delegation bei der OECD tätig, zunächst als Stellvertreter, ab 2010 als Botschafter und Missionschef. Bei Avenir Suisse war Stefan Flückiger von 2002 bis 2006 zuständig für Strategie und Planung. Von 1997 bis 2002 leitete er die Wirtschaftsabteilung der Schweizerischen Botschaft in Bonn und Berlin und war zuvor von 1994 bis 1997 Country Officer für Haiti an der Weltbank in Washington und Port-au-Prince. 1989 ins EDA eingetreten, war er zuerst in Zimbabwe tätig und arbeitete dann von 1991-1994 als Mitarbeiter im Entwicklungsdienst des damaligen BAWI.

Der Stellenantritt von Stefan Flückiger im SIF erfolgt zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt und wird dann entsprechend kommuniziert.

Hervé Guez is Global Head of Research and CIO of Equities and Fixed Income for Mirova.

Prior to joining Mirova in 2008, he served for 12 years as a financial analyst for CCF-HSBC and HSCB-CACIB. As head of Mirova’s Responsible Investment research team, he developed the philosophy and methodology now used by the firm’s SRI analysts. Mr. Guez’s work informs the integration of ESG criteria across the whole of Natixis Asset Management and serves as the basis for the investment strategies pursued by Mirova’s actively managed, sustainability-themed funds in the realms of equities, fixed income, and infrastructure. In partnership with the University of Cambridge, Mirova’s research team regularlypublish studies that address issues of sustainability and their investment implications.

Mr. Guez serves on the board of the French SIF (Social Investment Forum), and represents Mirova within the UNEP Finance Initiative, the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), Eurosif (European Sustainable Investment Forum) and the SRI commission of the AFG. He holds a master’s degree in banking and finance (DESS Banque-Finance), holds the SFAF diploma and is a Certified International Investment Analyst® (CIIA®).

Jamie joined the firm in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Jamie worked at Hill Samuel Asset Management as a Japanese Equities Fund Manager. Alternate Member of the Governing Board – Swiss National Bank

Thomas Moser concluded his university studies in 1997 with a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Zurich. From 1994 to 1996, he was employed as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Zurich’s Institute for Empirical Research in Economics, and from 1996 to 1999, as an economist at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute (formerly Swiss Institute for Business Cycle Research) at ETH Zurich.

In 1999, he joined the SNB as a senior economist in the International Monetary Relations unit. He was in Washington from 2001 to 2004, working first as Advisor to the Swiss Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and then, from 2002, as Senior Advisor. After returning to Switzerland in 2004, he took up a position as Assistant Director and Deputy Head of the International Research and Technical Assistance unit at the SNB in Zurich. From early May 2006 to the end of 2009, he was Executive Director of the IMF constituency in Washington headed by Switzerland.

The Federal Council appointed Thomas Moser Alternate Member of the Governing Board in Department I with effect from the beginning of 2010. As of 1 September 2018, he moved to take up the same position in Department III, where he is responsible for the operational management of the Money Market and Foreign Exchange, Asset Management, Banking Operations, and Information Technology divisions, as well as for the Financial Market Analysis unit and the Singapore branch office.

Thomas Moser is a member of the Managing Committee of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St Gallen and a member of the Advisory Board of the Swiss International Finance Forum SIFF.

Pascal Rochat founded Active Niche Funds in 2007.

In 2008, Pascal launched Active Solar: the first long-only mutual fund focused on the worldwide solar energy sector.

Formerly, Pascal Rochat was Chief Risk Officer at Energie Ouest Suisse (EOS, now Alpiq) in Lausanne. Pascal first worked at Arthur Andersen (then Ernst & Young) in Geneva as auditor and financial and economic consultant.

Pascal Rochat holds a Ph.D. in Law of the University of Lausanne and a Postgraduate Management Certificate of HEC Lausanne.

Head of ESG – Credit Suisse

Dominik Scheck, Director, has more than 17 years of professional experience in the
fields of fixed-income portfolio management, quantitative research, and ESG
investing.

Dominik was appointed Head of ESG Switzerland & EMEA at Credit Suisse Asset
Management in November 2018.

Prior to his appointment as Head of ESG, Dominik worked as a senior portfolio
manager for global fixed-income products at Credit Suisse Asset Management in
Zurich. He rejoined the Group in February 2017, after having worked in the same
fixed-income team from 2007 to 2014 as a portfolio manager for fixed-income
products.

Between 2014 and 2017, Dominik worked as a client portfolio manager at
RobecoSAM, an asset management firm, specializing in sustainable investing. In
addition, he has previous experience as a portfolio manager at Clariden Leu and UBS.

Dominik holds an MA in Economics from the University of Konstanz and an MA in
Environmental Sciences from the FernUniversität in Hagen, which he completed in
2012.

Mr. Vincenzo Trani moved to Russia in the late 1990s, as part of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Since, Mr. Trani has worked continuously within the microfinance segment. Mr. Trani has directed development initiatives on behalf of leading private banks and industrial groups. Furthermore, Mr. Trani has gained official recognition in Russia as the initiator of some key projects in regard to small and medium-size businesses. Mr. Vincenzo Trani founded General Invest and Mikro Kapital in 2008. Mikro Kapital is a microfinance company to finance small businesses that has established itself as one of the most successful initiatives of its kind at the European level.​

Thomas has been passionate about nature for as long as he can remember. He joined WWF as a member and volunteer when he was eight years old. Before joining WWF, he worked in private banking for Citibank and as a consultant and engagement manager for McKinsey & Co.

Thomas holds degrees in Arabic and Islamic studies from Durham, in International Relations from Cambridge and in Business Administration from IMD. He serves on the boards of several nonprofits and startups in the sustainability space. Thomas and his family live in Zürich, from where he enjoys exploring nature on land and under water.
